Wallow in the Quietness

Howdy! I've had a good day today. I made it to the clinic early - which is sooo unlike me - what's with that anyway?? Anyway, early arrived, yes I did and checked e-mails, ate my muffin and drank my coffee, checked out some blogs, fed my poochie and settled back for another busy day. Alas, it never happened, oh sure, there have been a few walk-ins, a few phone calls, but no emergencies (gotta love that!) and nothing out of the ordinary at all. I've had time to play catch-up and goof around, check out some new blogs and even reconciled my checkbook. Woo hoo!!! Goooo me!! I've still been working on my camera research and I think I'm getting very close to a decision...you'd think I was buying a house or something - but I want it to be one I'll have for a while, so you know...I'm chewing, so to speak. Anyway, the search continues. More on that later.

I'm getting my hair cut tomorrow too - always a scary thing because I never know what I want to do, and it seems that no matter what I do, unless I go drastic and get it too short (which I always hate), it always kind of looks the same...sigh...the thin-haired, wavy-haired gal's lot in life - to always look....average. I wish I had, oh well I'm NOT even going there. I am just glad to have hair - I guess.

Anyhoo...like I've said, I've had a quiet day. How is yours going?

lol! Yes, hair is good. I like your spin on life. Very positive :)

Thank you for visiting my blog. I know I'll be back again to visit yours. I see you have a llama and horses...2 of my favorite animals :)

I'm getting my hair cut on Saturday. I psyched myself up to cut it really short to get it off my face and out of my eyes, and then all the men in my life started pleading me to leave it "long". It's really shoulder length right now. I'm just tired of not being able to see through thick forest that falls across my eyes. Maybe I could pass some of my hair on to you?

Hi Lisa - Thanks for stopping by - I love having visitors (I'd say so on my blog, but I haven't figured that out yet)and yes, yes, please add me to your followers list. I've visited a few times before and love it!! Our llamas name is "Merlin" and he's most entertaining and we kinda like him too. Have a great weekend!

And Nuzzling Muzzles (love that name!), I would gladly accept any hair that you could send my way, thanks dahlin'. What is it with men and hair??? My hubby and every other man I've ever met always want their women with long, luxurious locks - problem is, we don't all have luxurious locks - so be thankful and relish being a sexy, hairy female!! Thanks for stopping by.

I like that name Merlin! What a great name.
Our male gelding llama's name is Catlinite, and his half sister's name is Cataleya. They came with those names when I bought them.
Somehow they just fit and nothing else sounded better. lol!

I posted a video of Catlinite yesterday, that you might enjoy seeing. It shows what a wonderful guard llama he is. He really takes great care of his herd of goats and sheep.
Also Cataleya is in the video, too. She's a little self centered, though and not much into the goats or sheep, except maybe Luna, my angora goat.
So, I trained her to pack so I can take her hiking with me and she can carry my water and gear. She loves it and seem to enjoy going for walks with me. She's the llama princess! :)

I hope you will post some pics of Merlin when you get the photo and video thing worked out.
I'd love to see your critters.

Thank you for stopping by my blog!

I'm a camera search myself. You know it's bad when your 16-year-old daughter has a better camera than yours...sigh. Mine works about half the time and the screen is just about toast.

Hair. I've given up on mine. I've just let it go and throw it up into a ponytail or barrette. It's about as thick as sheep's wool and very curly/wavy. Can't do a danged thing with it most days! I tried short and ended up looking like I stuck my finger in an electrical socket. Bad.
