Fried eggs again - boy howdy!!

Fried eggs or Friday is what my high school Spanish teacher used to say...he was a crack-up, that's for sure! But for some reason, it's stuck. I more often than not will refer to Friday as Fried eggs!! So yippee everybody, it's Fried eggs again!! Hope everybody has a fantastic weekend.

And just guess what else?? Miss Karen of Life at the Rough String has given me an award!! Hot diggity dog and hot fried frog's feathers!!! I'm so humbled and honored that she has graced me with this wonderful award. I'd like to thank my writing staff and my family and my amazing fans for putting up with me (blush). oh ha ha hee hee ha ho !!! Just kidding...I don't really have a staff...just a little fantasy I entertain ever so often. Seriously though, thanks Karen, I sincerely do appreciate the thoughtful gesture. If you haven't already checked her blog out, get on over there and do so, because she lives in eastern Oregon (the dry side) and has some beautiful horses, some cute donkeys, humble poochies, a good-lookin' cowboy hubby and a cat too. She's one very busy and interesting gal.

Will ya just looky here!!

Don't that just beat all!? Shucks! I'm sooo humbled. Oh no, there's just one teeny weeny little problem - you know...that little nagging, won't go away issue I have about LINKS!!!!!

There rules associated with this award:

1) Name 5 other superior scribbles

2) Link to the author and name of the blog that gave you the award

3)Display the award on your blog with this LINK, which explains this award

4) At the bottom of that link, add your name to Mr. Linky's list

5) Post these rules for your recipients

Here are my 5 Superior Scribbler Award recipients:

Sorry...you'll just have to wait until some kind and generous fellow blogger somewhere out there feels sorry enough for me to take pity and show me how to do those dadburned, stinkin' links!!!

*sigh*

See ya later alligators!!

I accidentally left my comment on your post below...lol!!!

Congrats on your awards!!!

To link:
-Write the name/site that you want to link to in your post
-Click on it and highlight it
-Go up to the toolbar on your post screen and look for the icon that has binocular looking things on a globe (when you move over it, it will say "link"
-click on that and the address area will pop up.
Now....
-go to whomever's site you are tagging
-click on their address in the www area
-copy it
-go back to the binocular looking thing
-paste the person's website address in it, and viola!!! You are done.

Hope this helps! :)

Hey I did it. Took me some time but I figured what I was doing wrong. So here is my first post. yeah!
I love your Christmas dreamin. I'm kinda on the same page. Only thing is I would really love an open fireplace in the cabin. Could you make it a lodge huh? maybe?

I'm looking forward to hiking and making wreaths with you soon.

Love ya sis.

Well, I came to explain how I do my links (which is how I do it at Dogster.com)...but Melanie has a much simpler way!! I think what I've been doing is typing out the html code then pasting the URL into it...but no mater how you get it done, it's the result that matters!!

Bravo!!

Melanie did a good job describing how to create links in Blogger. I'll just add that the quickest way to do a copy is to highlight the URL and Ctrl C on your keyboard. Then to paste what you just copied, place your cursor into the field where you want it and hit Ctrl V.

We have a lot of funny sayings that we carried on from my father-in-law. He's a real jokster.

Lovely scribbler award!
Melanie did a great job with the link description. If any of that doesn't make sense just ask. And Nuzzling's tip of copy and paste is certainly a time-saver.

Congrats on the adorable little award. I love reading your fun and fascinating (what is now? F~is for...."?! lol My mind is spinning with my Alphabet Challenge. lol!!) blog. It always make me smile and makes me feel like we are just chatting together face-to-face.

You've changed my way of thinking now, too. Whenever I see muddy horses now, I always think "Chocolate-Dipped" and now when Friday arrives, I'll be thinking "Yay! Fried Eggs!"

My husband used to always say, "Boy howdy."
Where are you from originally?
He was from Iowa.
I was wondering if that was a Midwestern term?

Yippy skippy Melanie, Kacy, Nuzzling Muzzles, Karen, Molly!!! With all this good advice, I'll need to be slapped if I can't figure this out now!! Thanks you guys!
Hey Miss B - so glad to see you've finally arrived!

Donna, good to meet you too - come back any ole time.

Fantastik Voyager - I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Oregonian, but my family hailed from Missouri--hee hee, those dadgum midwesterners sure do talk funny huh? Guess some musta rubbed off on me.

And Lisa - don't even start with me...I could get real creative with the letter "F"!! :) Fat Freddy flew to France farting fiercely, ferrociously and freely, funny huh Frannie Fanny?? And...I didn't even talk ugly!
